Thoughts

4/06/2016 9.12pm - Why would the Labor government want to take away literature? What does Mr Turnbull have against writing, words, reading, creativity?? Books and reading are an essential item and skill in life which is needed and shouldn't be taken away, nor should the policies change regarding 'Australians rights' to owning their own work!!!!

When I saw this it really frustrated me - because just because one person reads and the next person doesn't, aka turnbull - doesn't mean the majority of the world don't enjoy reading and writing, creativity in general. Everyone is different and unique, we all have different likes and hobbies, so why should the government have the right to ruin it for us?
Well he won't if he gets voted out but for that to happen, most have to vote against him. You know, just knowing that - knowing that one thing that he wants to take away from the world, makes me dislike him, makes my decision clear when voting and I see him on the television, with disgust in my heart. I am passionate about writing and reading as a lot of you reading this are as well, it is in my heart, it is in me.

Also, it has been raining crazily on the Gold Coast, I never understand why people dislike it and feel so miserable when it rains - it makes me so happy, I shine from inside out and am filled with joy - I know rain is a readers best friend though it generally puts a bit smile on my face - so does the cold weather.

Also, Last night while trying to fall asleep, I was thinking - HOW COOL IS IT THAT YOUR GRAND MOTHER OR FIRST PERSON AT THE FAMILY CHAIN - HOW COOL IS IT THAT, THEIR HOBBIES, QUIRKY, UNIQUE, HUMBLE THEY ARE - HOW COOL IS IT THAT THROUGH GENETICS THAT WE INHERIT IT.

Throughout the past years my mum has said to me when often doing something that - my mum (my abuela which is grandmother in spanish) loved that and did that her whole life - for instant, looking up into the stars at night time, reading, writing, liking sweet things, liking tea, loving rain and cold weather - knitting. It is SO COOL how something that someone in your family generally enjoys and did through their life, is passed on - I HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT WORKS BUT IF YOU THINK ABOUT IT, IT'S PRETTY AWESOME.

My favourite place to read and write is by a big window in my brothers room - especially when it is raining!! Tonight, I am on my bean bag (they are comfy :) and great for reading or studying, who likes to sit in the same position (not me), a big blanket, winter pjs, my journal, laptop (obviously cause i'm writing this) and a penut butter kit kat - I took out of the pantry/ which I know is for one of my brothers but hey, I promise I will replace it and besides he isn't here at the moment soo...it's acceptable right, it's what families do :P

17/06/2016 1:01pm - I am just here at my desk and am on my laptop and was scrolling through the basket of books I have sitting on The Book depository. It makes me giddy inside because to me the books in the basket are a 10/10 and I just want them soooooooo bad!!
I want a job soooooo bad so I can buy books :( :)
Here is my basket list so far:

- The year I met you by Cecelia Ahern
- Always with love by Giovanna Fletcher
- The Invisible Library but Genevieve cogman
- Fangirl by Rainbow Powell

- Maybe not by Colleen Hoover
- Beautiful broken things by Sara Barnard
- You know me well by David Levithan

also, I have the best idea for my next cover for my journal and that excites me - I also have ordered 5 try on free glasses from a website called Frankie Dean, they are just unique and different, not so modern like and I can't wait to try them on.

I also am loving the cold weather, sooo much and it is the best thing ever - I am praying and fingers crossed and positivity thinking about this job I applied for, I REALLY want it and it would fit perfectly and I applied really soon after it was advertised so am hoping it mean something but I REALLY WANT IT !!!
